• The SPK and M2 fly back to the US. Near and Matt will move in a flat together for Mello's time in prison, so Near is waiting for M2 to inspect their old flat, get all the stuff that's left, Mello to prepare. On 13.02.2010 the SPK "arrests" Mihael Keehl, who is framed as a mafia lowbob, did some drug runs for Rod Ross or something the like. Anything that would get him 6 months, think of something! What would happen after Mihael Keehl gets caught? Legal wise? Would he be put in Untersuchungshaft? How long until a trial date is set? When would it be? Which date? When would he be officially be put in prison?

• Near’s reunion with his family. Jul? Aug?

  

• Matt lets his hair grow out during prison time. Mainly due to depression, maybe it pun intended grows on him. He also gets new glasses. Every visit, he looks more different to Mello. Mello bitterly comments on every change he notices as he realises life goes on without him outside. Matt, again, interprets the dull response as “I don’t like how you look”. Maybe gives himself a buzzcut after Mello comments of his hair growing :/.

• Nachdem Mello wieder frei ist, sollten sie recht zügig zu ihren Familien zurück. They decide to visit Chris together first. Mello hat da seine Krise, sie bleiden ne Woche oder so und Mello will wieder alleine seinen Part mit der Familie abarbeiten, Matt meint “ich dachte, das hätten wir mittlerweile geklärt”, besteht darauf, mitzugehen. Matt geht mit, Mello sagt ihm aber, dass er das erste Treffen mit seiner Mutter (Mello hat drauf bestanden, dass nur sie kommt) bitte alleine durchziehen will.

Near‘s (18) deal ist in trockenen Tüchern. M2 are free to leave the SPK for the first time in 2 weeks and without the fear of being caught. They end up staying at the SPK HQ for the remaining time until everybody flies back to the US.

2010.02.11 Thursday

Matt (20) and Mello (20) kommen zurück in die Mafia flat und finden sie komplet verwüstet vor. Sehr dramatisch. Ihr altes Leben ist kaputt. Near (18) ist so lange in nem Hotel, bis die beiden ihr Zeug aus der Bude geholt haben, alles geregelt ist etc und Mello bereit für Prison ist.

Die SPK „verhaftet“ Milo Parker. After the arrest, Mello is put into pretrial detention. In the U.S., this would be in a county jail, not a federal prison, since he‘s awaiting arraignment and possible trial. Within 48–72 hours, he appears before a judge for an arraignment hearing. He pleads guilty as part of a plea bargain worked out behind the scenes.

Plea Bargain Finalized. Due to Near and SPK working their magic, the District Attorney accepts the plea to avoid going to trial.

The court sentences Mihael Keehl to 6 months in county jail with no parole (to keep it clean).

2010.02.25 Thursday

The day after sentencing, Mello is transferred to county jail to begin serving his time. It‘s not a federal prison since it‘s a short sentence on low-tier charges.

Mello (20) has to spend 6 months in prison as part of Near’s (18) deal. Matt (20) lives with Near in the meantime.

Mello’s official release date is 24.08.2010 — assuming no parole, no early release, and no disciplinary issues. Halle, Near and Matt are there to pick him up.

Matt (20) reunites with Chris (47). Matt and Mello (20) spend 1-2 weeks at Chris and Holly’s (_) place.
