- Stereotypical mean older brother
- When L died and Mello ran away in 2005, his family was put in witness protection and got relocated to Czech Republic, which is simply brutal, since they’ve already been immigrants in the UK and now they have to go through the whole struggle again. They get new names, new identities, a cover story, new jobs, new schools, and got no social circle.
- Jakov feels like he has to be the “man in the house” now and tries to carry everything for his mum and sister who are equally as lost as him.
- He was not far away from graduating in the UK and is now expected to finish school while learning a new language etc etc etc. I don’t think he finishes school in Czech Republic.
- Absolutely gets bullied and quickly learns that muscles solve conflicts. Muscles and looks also get the attention of girls, he doesn’t even need to speak Czech.
- Starts going to the gym and it’s kind of the only thing that gives him some control over his life. Really delves into working out.
- Starts smoking, stealing, getting in conflict with the law
- Eventually starts a job on a construction site (probably illegally?) - Betonpumpenfahrer, Kranfahrer, Eisenflechter
- Jakov bleibt beim **Eisenflechter** (”steel fixer” oder “concrete reinforcing worker”)
- Likes to wear muscleshirts & drinks protein shakes
- Muttersöhnchen, chillt enorm viel bei Ivanka, lässt sich gerne bemuttern
- Their two kids weren’t planned, oopsie
- Mello stole something from Jakov and Jakov makes a fuss about it. Mello has the dirtiest little shit eating grin on his face before hitting himself in the face, starts screaming and crying “MOOOOOOMMMM JAKOV HIT ME” and you can hear the croatian cursing from the other room and Jakov just looks like Simba about to get hit by the stampede.
- Jakov calls Mello ugly names post-canon, aber nicht weil ers unbedingt böse meint. Aber der haut halt Sachen raus wie “Ja moin, du faggot”
Mello hat ganz schnell die Schnauze voll davon und gibt einen Warnschuss “Wenn du nochmal sowas sagt, hast du mein Knie zwischen deinen Beinen.” und Jakov macht den Fehler noch genau ein Mal.
- der war mal spazieren oder wat und hat gesehen, dass sich eine Frau beim Frauenarzt ausm Fenster in den Tod stürzen wollte und er streckt einfach die Arme aus und fängt die
- blow up argument between him and Steph because of how either closed off he is or how much his hatred for his dad is still twisting him up as an adult think it would be an interesting character moment for them both
- Maybe a reconcile of him seeing his kids sleep like oh fuck no I won’t be him
- He loves his kids so much in my head but really struggles showing that
- I do think he’s a “I buy them toys and games and designer clothes so they know I love them”
- Like the kids want for nothing except to hang out w him
- Oh god babysitting mello getting asked why doesn’t daddy like me? By one of the kids oooougghgghgghgg
- In my head I always see him hanging out with the kids but doing nothing else for them

- Like he’s completely around their fingers but they don’t recognise that bc they’re kids
- they find out through xyz one of his kids is getting bullied and as hes being told this by his kid he’s just visibly shaking repeating in his head “I can’t hit a child I can’t hit a child” and then a big breath and decides to give them boxing lessons
