Shortly before they got together, they were on a date, that neither of them officially declared as a date and they thought the other didn’t think it was a date but it totally was a date. Die telefonieren mal wieder bis spät in die Nacht und Mello meint “ey, btw hast du den Film schon gesehen?” “Nee, ich wollt eigentlich ins Kino aber irgendwie hat sichs nicht ergeben” “Sollen wir zusammen hin?” “Öh klar, wenn du Zeit hast?” “Ich nehm mir Zeit, ganz einfach haha” “ (🥴 💕)” die klären Tag, Uhrzeit, Kino, legen auf und beide sind mega hibbelig. Am Tag machen sich beide ein bisschen mehr zurecht als nötig sind richtig aufgeregt irgendwie, but they play it cool when they meet, machen ein paar zweideutige Witze auf ehrenbruderbasis und so “Yoo ey man, haste dich schick gemacht” “ja klar, ich kann doch nicht wie ein Kellerkind zu nem Date aufschlagen lolol“ Und es entsteht so eine richtig unangenehme Pause bei dem Wort Date. Während dem FIlm lehnt sich Matt in seiner Art immer wieder rüber und haut FUn facts raus etc etc und eigentlich würde Mello das stören nach ner Weile, aber der Film ist wesentlich weniger spannend als das Kribbeln im Bauch wenn Matt sich wieder rüberlehnt und ihm zuflüstert. Danach gehen sie auch noch was essen, es ist halt echt irgendwie ein super klischeehaftes Date

They both wanna hold hands but what if the other doesnt and they’re both freaking out about their sweaty palms and matts upper lip is sweating now and mello thinks Matt can hear his shoes squeaking but Matt is lost in his own hell of trying to will his back to stop sweating

At the end of the day, nothing happens, fuss about completely nothing, they did not pay attention to the movie at all but the both lie in their own beds at night thinking "it was a good day" cause they made the other laugh or something
