The Kira Task Force retrieves the Mafia Death Note. Mello‘s (19) real name is revealed as Mihael Keehl. Mello blows up his base. Matt (19) rescues Mello from the explosion and treats his wounds. He later brings him to The Vet and back home with strong painkillers etc etc Soichiro (54) dies from gunshot wounds. Sidoh‘s Death Note is returned to him and he goes back to the Shinigami Realm.

Mello (19) finally breaks down after being heavily depressed after the raid.
2009.11.18 Wednesday
Near (18) suspects the Second L of being Kira. US Vice-President George Sairas announces his country‘s acceptance of Kira. Mello (19) flies to New York. Matt (19) starts making a new rosary for Mello.
2009.11.19 Thursday
Following America‘s announcement, other countries face similar dilemmas, including the Japanese government. George Sairas announces the disbandment of the SPK. Mello (19), who has been hiding in Halle‘s (35) flat, goes to the SPK headquarters and shares information with Near (18).

Matt and Mello get a little intimate over the phone.
2009.11.22 Sunday
Demegawa (43) appears on Sakura TV‘s "Kira‘s Kingdom“ and announces that he is now Kira‘s spokesman.
2009.11.23 Monday
Near (18) uncovers the fake 13-day rule and questions the Second L. Mello (19) requests that Mogi (36) come to New York. Mogi is guided by Mello to the SPK headquarters.
2009.11.25 Wednesday
The SPK headquarters in Manhattan is attacked by Demegawa (43) and other Kira zealots who cause a riot. A large amount of dollar bills is released from the headquarters, distracting the mob and allowing the SPK and Mogi (36) to escape.
2009.11.26 Thursday
Light (23) chooses Mikami (42) as his new Kira proxy. Near (18) gives the Kira Task Force fake news of Mogi‘s (36) death by heart attack. Misa (24) sends her Death Note to Mikami and loses all memories of being Kira. Mello (19) flies to Los Angeles.
2009.11.27 Friday
Mogi‘s (36) alleged death and the fake 13-day rule prompts Aizawa (40) to go to the SPK and assist Near (18). Based on Aizawa‘s statements, Near figures out that the Second L, whom he suspects to be Kira, is Light (23). Mikami (42) receives the Death Note and begins his work as Kira. Rester (41) heads for Japan to investigate Light‘s background. Aizawa and Mogi return to the Kira Task Force. Mogi stays permanently with Misa (24). Mello (19) and Matt (19) begin following Aizawa, Mogi, and Misa. Mikami makes the Shinigami Eyes trade with Ryuk. Demegawa (43) and his "Kira‘s Kingdom“ executives are killed by the power of Mikami‘s Death Note.

Rester (41) tells Near (18) of the results of his investigation of Light (23). Mikami (42) appeals to Kira for guidance on the "Kira‘s Kingdom“ show.

Halle (35) meets with Mello (19) and Matt (19) at an acrade.
2009.12.05 Saturday
NHN reporter Takada (24) is chosen as Kira‘s spokesperson. Light (23) suggests the Kira Task Force head back to Japan to investigate Takada.
2009.12.06 Sunday
The Kira Task Force returns to Japan, followed by Mello (19) and Matt (19). Kira (Mikami (42)), through his spokesperson Takada (24), announces that he will kill people who fail to contribute fully to society. Light (23) has a secret meeting with Takada at the Imperial Hotel.
2009.12.07 Monday
Kira (Mikami (42)), through his spokesperson Takada (24), announces that he will kill people with past criminal records, even those who have reformed. Light (23) is bothered by Mikami‘s extremes. Takada airs her own opinions on Kira at the suggestion of Light. Mikami and Light speak on the phone for the first time. Light reveals to Takada that he is Kira.
2009.12.09 Wednesday
Misa (24) announces her comeback will be on a New Year‘s Eve celebrity singing show. Near (18) arrives in Japan and sets up another SPK base. Near and Light (23) exchange confrontational words. Near explains to the SPK members his theories on Kira‘s current situation and his team‘s future plans. Light reveals the existence of the Death Note to Takada (24) and has her begin killing criminals.

Matt (19) takes Mello (20) out for some sightseeing for his 20th birthday to lighten the mood and get him off his mind. They‘re in japan after all woop!! Matt gifts the rosary he made to Mello and Mello can‘t cope.
2009.12.14 Monday
Halle (35) is appointed as one of Takada‘s (24) bodyguards. Misa (24) runs into Takada at NHN studios. Near (18) uncovers Mikami (42) as the new Kira.
2009.12.17 Thursday
To everyone’s absolute surprise and horror, Near (18) asks Halle (35) for a one-night-stand.
2009.12.21 Monday
Takada (24) and Misa (24) have dinner together. Gevanni (57) witnesses Mikami (42) using the Death Note on a train. Near (18) is convinced that Mikami is the new Kira, whom he dubs X-Kira.
2009.12.22 Tuesday
Light (23) is questioned by Takada (24) about Misa (24). Light has Takada mention wanting to arrest Kira.
2009.12.25 Friday
Near (18) focuses on whether or not Mikami (42) has a Shinigami. Gevanni (57) notices Mikami talking to himself. Aizawa (40) discovers that Light (23) and Takada (24) are secretly communicating with memo pads during their bugged meetings. Aizawa contacts Near and agrees to continue watching over Light.
